Ukrainian armoured vehicle company Inguar showcased two protected utility vehicles at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition, held in Paris from 15-19 June. These included the 4×4 Inguar-3 protected troop carrier fitted with a remote weapon station (RWS), and the Inguar-4 configured as a 6×6 protected recovery vehicle.
Inguar-series vehicles have a modular approach to mission payloads, with users able to reconfigure the rear section of the vehicle by removing a module and replacing it with alternatives suited to different roles, including command post, medical, and cargo configurations. The vehicles are built on an in-house, purpose-designed chassis, in contrast to comparable platforms that may use commercial automotive bases to reduce costs and development timelines.
Janes spoke to Mykyta Puz, a defence sector liaison officer with the 12 th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine, whose unit was the first to use the Inguar series of vehicles on the front lines. When asked how Inguar vehicles differ from others, Puz mentioned the platform's ergonomics, ease of repair, and acceleration. He said his assessment was based on his unit's combat experience during the ongoing war with Russia.
