Indonesian Navy debuts one-way attack USV in joint exercise

The Indonesian Navy has deployed a domestically developed one-way attack unmanned surface vessel (USV) for the first time.
It was deployed during a large-scale joint exercise, which took place between 4–6 August in the Riau Islands. It involved all branches of the Indonesian Armed Forces.
On 5 August, the one-way attack USV was launched from the well deck of the Indonesian Navy's hospital ship KRI dr. Soeharso , alongside other demonstrations that included the firing of C-705 anti-ship missiles.
Visuals released by the Indonesian Navy showed the vessel navigating towards a simulated shoreline target before an explosion was observed in the target area.
The visuals also indicate that the USV has a relatively compact, low-observable form factor.
Its hull incorporates angular, faceted surfaces that reduce visual and potentially radar signatures.
The vessel has a sharply raked bow and a narrow profile, giving it the appearance of a small fast attack craft optimised to approach a target at high speed.
Mounted above the rear of its superstructure section is what appears to be an electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) sensor package carried on a small mast.
This sensor likely provides the remote operator with real-time imagery for navigation, target acquisition, and terminal guidance during the final attack run.
The arrangement suggests the vessel is controlled via a networked command-and-control link rather than operating as a wholly autonomous system.
The stern section also appears to incorporate exhaust outlets for an internal combustion engine, indicating that the craft is powered by a conventional marine propulsion system.
