Denmark awards contract to Systematic for C-UAV C2 system

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has awarded a contract to Systematic for the delivery of a command and control (C2) system to the Danish Armed Forces for counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (C-UAV) operations, according to a DALO press release from 8 October 2026.

The C2 system will integrate Systematic's SitaWare Suite with existing C-UAV capabilities for “coordinated decision-making”, as per Systematic's release the same day. DALO said the new system will use an AI tool to analyse and collate data to provide a common situational awareness picture. Systematic's release said its SitaWare Insight will use AI-supported analysis of historical and near-real-time data to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.

The company said its SitaWare Headquarters (HQ) software will provide oversight of C-UAV activity across sites and military domains.

According to DALO, the new C2 system will be deployed at several military sites, integrating Systematic's SitaWare software with existing counter-drone systems. Systematic said the new C2 capability will integrate SitaWare software with Terma's OSL C-UAV system.

DALO announced on 19 August that it had selected Terma to deliver a new integrated C2 system for C-UAV capability. The C2 system is built on Helion, Terma's multi-domain data backbone, which connects sensor data into a shared situational picture. It also integrates OSL Technology's Face platform for C2 and data fusion, according to Terma. Face processes data from Terma's radar and surveillance technologies as well as third-party sensors and countermeasures.
