Ukrainian company General Cherry plans to test its Bullet interceptor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to be carried and launched by platforms including unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and fixed-wing “mothership” UAVs, Stanislav Hryshyn, co-founder and chief strategy officer of General Cherry, told Janes on 18 August 2026.
“We are hoping that by the end of 2026 we may show the first results of this. And it is not just testing, not just verification, but real results from the battlefield,” Hryshyn said. As an example, Hryshyn said, the Bullet interceptor may be test launched from a Magura USV.
Bullet improvements
The Bullet interceptor UAV has undergone a number of adaptations in recent months, including the addition of a new ground control station (GCS), and its capability for remote launch, according to General Cherry. The company added that it released an updated version of the Bullet in April 2026 with a redesigned fuselage based on feedback from units within the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
