Revenue at Elbit Systems jumped 23% to USD1.3 billion in the fourth quarter of 2019, driven by recent acquisitions and growth in legacy businesses, according to the Israel-based company.
Gross profit totalled USD284.3 million in the fourth quarter of last year, up 21% from the same period in the previous year, Elbit said on 25 March.
For all of 2019, revenue climbed 22% to USD4.5 billion, fuelled by sales of avionics equipment and land systems. Gross profit increased by 16% to USD1.1 billion.
Elbit’s backlog at the end of 2019 was USD10 billion, up 7% from the end of 2018.
