Australia releases defence export catalogue

The Australian government released on 19 March the fourth edition of its catalogue to promote defence exports.

The 2020 edition of Australian Defence Sales Catalogue – formerly known as the Australian Military Sales Catalogue – features 170 local companies, a 49% increase over representation in 2019.

Minister for Defence Industry Melissa Price said, “Small businesses from each Australian state and territory are represented in the catalogue, highlighting the strength of Australia’s defence industry sector and the… government’s investment to grow innovative defence industry across the country.”

In addition to promoting Australian defence products, technologies, and services, the catalogue features information for local companies about export control mechanisms, industry support services, export credit facilities, partnership opportunities, procurement processes, and technology development schemes.
