Organisers of the 2020 Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit in Seattle, Washington, have postponed the 6-8 April event, citing concerns about the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“This decision is a temporary precautionary measure aimed to prevent the spread of the virus, shorten its impact, and ensure the health and safety of our customers as well as the general public,” says a statement posted on the event’s website.
A new date has not been officially announced, but at least one expected participant, Canada-based Magellan Aerospace, indicated that the event has been rescheduled for September. The summit is organised by event planning firm BCI Aerospace and supported by Boeing.
