The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) has outlined a commitment to ensure international orders are delivered on schedule despite the impact of the Covid-19 coronavirus on the group’s production activity.
AVIC said in statements on 3 March that it is “endeavouring to ensure deliveries of international projects with effective epidemic prevention measures”. The state-owned corporation added that all export contracts had been reviewed amid the epidemic and its effect on manufacturing.
According to China’s official Xinhua news agency, AVIC has been in “intensive communication” with its global customers and “multiple batches of products” have recently been completed and shipped.
