HAL opens Light Combat Helicopter facility ahead of anticipated orders

28 February 2020

India's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has inaugurated facilities to support the production of its new Light Combat Helicopter (LCH).

The new hanger - based within HAL's complex in Bangalore - will "augment capacity to reach the peak production of 30 helicopters per year", said HAL chairman and managing director R Madhavan in an Indian defence ministry statement.
