Details emerge of KPE’s Ansar combat module

Details of the Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering (KPE) Ansar combat module emerged in a report published by Kazakh media outlet informburo.kz on 16 February.

The report states that the unmanned combat module, which is armed with a 30 mm 2A72 cannon from Russian company Tulamashzavod, was mounted onto a KPE Barys eight-wheeled armoured fighting vehicle for a series of firing trials held at the Mailan testing range, which is located some 50 km from the Kazakh capital.
