CACI International is shopping for companies it could acquire to beef up its electronic warfare (EW) capabilities, according to an official at the US technology firm.
While CACI has already expanded its EW portfolio through several past acquisitions, it is looking to make additional purchases because EW technology is “ever evolving and very specialised”, said Tom Mutryn, CACI’s chief financial officer.
Mutryn made his comments on 13 February at investment firm Cowen and Company’s 41st Annual Aerospace/Defense & Industrials Conference in New York City.
Past additions that have bolstered CACI's EW capabilities include Six3 Systems, acquired in 2013, and LGS Innovations and Mastodon Design, both acquired in 2019.
