Indra has opened a new 7,000 sq m dedicated radar factory in Spain where nearly 200 staff will work on both military and civil contracts, the company announced on 23 January.
One of the biggest of its kind in Europe, it is located at San Fernando de Henares, just east of Madrid, and will house the company's entire output, it said.
“The new facility represents a clear commitment of the company for the design and production of such systems, in which Indra is one of the global leaders, mostly thanks to 3D technology,” said Jorge Estévez, Indra’s director of Transportation and Defence Operations.
