Textron Aviation has acquired Australian maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) specialist Premiair Aviation Maintenance, it was announced on 6 January.
Textron Aviation did not disclose the terms of the acquisition but said Premiair Aviation Maintenance will now join its global network of MRO service providers.
These services are focused on supporting Textron Aviation’s three aircraft brand lines: Beechcraft, Cessna, and Hawker. Services to be provided through the acquisition include avionics upgrades, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements, structural and component repairs, and overhauls and refurbishment.
Premiair Aviation Maintenance is headquartered at Jandakot Airport near Perth in Western Australia. The company, which was established in 2002, has five MRO facilities in states including Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, and Queensland.
