The new submarine rescue ship for the Submarines Command Force (ComForS) of the Brazilian Navy, Guillobel (K120), will be commissioned in March 2020, Admiral Ilques Barbosa Junior, Brazilian navy commander, confirmed.

The ship, now operating as a diving support vessel by the Bahraini company ADAMS Offshore as DSV ADAMS Challenge , arrived at the Almirante Castro e Silva submarines base at the Island of Mocanguê in Niterói on 19 December under the command of its new Brazilian crew.

Before commissioning the ship, the navy still needs to paint the ship and modify its internal compartments to meet some Brazilian naval requirements, the service told Jane's on 20 December.
