RUAG MRO International completes inspection of a Bangladeshi Navy Dornier 228-212 special mission aircraft

RUAG MRO International announced on 9 December that one of the Bangladeshi Navy’s (BN’s) two Dornier 228-212 special mission aircraft has resumed regular operations after the company completed a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) inspection of the platform following 72 months of operations.

The inspection of the Dornier 228 “was fulfilled on time and within budget at the OEM’s [original equipment manufacturer’s] aircraft production facilities in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany”, said the company in a statement, pointing out that the BN took delivery of the platform at its home base in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 23 October directly after its ferry flight from Germany.
