Russia has donated two MiG-29UB ‘Fulcrum-B’ twin-seat fighter aircraft to Mongolia, according to a 26 November statement by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in Moscow.

“On 26 November two MiG-29UB operational trainers were handed over to the Mongolian Armed Forces in Ulaanbaatar as part of a military-technical assistance programme,” said the MoD, adding that the aircraft will increase the combat capabilities of the country’s aviation component and enhance both the military and military-technical co-operation between the two countries.
