Two Bell AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters donated by Jordan have arrived at Clark Air Base in the Philippines, according to local media reports.
Several local media outlets quoted National Security Advisor Hermogenes Esperon as saying that the platforms, which are set to be operated by the Philippine Air Force (PAF), arrived aboard a Russian-made Antonov cargo aircraft on 26 November.
Esperon added that the rotorcraft will now be assembled and undergo a series of flight tests before entering service in December.
The PAF has yet to release an official statement on the arrival of the helicopters, the donation of which was first announced in 2018.
