Lockheed Martin has opened an office in Santiago, Chile, and hired a veteran of the region's defence industry in a bid to spur its growth in Latin America.
Patricia Tobar, who has worked for nine years in the Chilean and Colombian defence sector and for three years as a defence and security officer at the British Embassy in Chile, has been appointed senior manager for business development.
