The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) is in negotiations to award a contract for the British Army's SCOPIC 2 programme, which integrates synthetic resources into live training, to Cubic Defence UK (CD UK). The selection was announced on Defence Contracts Online on 14 November, and the contract has a total value of GBP25 million.

CD UK currently provides its Synthetic Wrap (SW) to simulate scarce assets during live training as part of Project Micro-SCOPIC, for which it was awarded a contract in 2016. SW enables the integration into live training of a range of combat support assets that otherwise would not be available, either because of their scarcity, expense, or peacetime safety constraints.
