Belarus intends to purchase 9M120 Ataka anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) from Russia in 2020-21, the state news agency Belta reported Defence Minister Andrei Ravkov as having said during a press conference on 12 November.
The missiles are fired from 9K114 Shturm launchers that can be mounted on armoured vehicles and Mi-24 or Mi-28 helicopters, the report added.
They can engage targets including armoured vehicles and reinforced positions up to a range of 6 km according to Ravkov.
