The Yemeni rebel group Ansar Allah (Houthis) announced on 18 November that its coast guard forces had seized three vessels in the Red Sea, the first time it has done this.

The Saudi-led coalition's Joint Forces Command released a statement via the Saudi Press Agency confirming three vessels had been seized, including the tug Rabigh 3 , which was towing a South Korean dredging barge.
