India has outlined a range of new initiatives to support the development of defence industrial innovation in new and small businesses.
According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the initiatives – part of a wider defence innovation drive – are intended to support the growth of 250 “startup” businesses in India in the next five years and the development of at least “50 tangible innovations” in the defence industry.
