The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) released an initial request for information (RFI) on 31 October for new weapon locating radar systems being procured under the Project Serpens programme. Formerly the Next Generation Weapon Locating System (MGWLS), the new systems are to be introduced from 2026, with a main gate award in 2024.
