Indra recorded a 4.3% year-on-year (y/y) increase in sales to EUR741 million (USD822 million) in the third quarter (Q3) of 2019, although its IT and telecommunications division Minsait outperformed Transport & Defence (T&D).
Spain accounted for 48% of quarter three revenues, Indra announced on 5 November. Year-on-year growth in the Americas and Europe was offset by a slight fall in sales to customers in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
Quarter three sales in the IT and telecommunications division Minsait rose by 5.9% to EUR479 million, whereas T&D was static at EUR262 million (just EUR3 million higher than Q3 2018).
