Defence electronics sensor group Hensoldt officially renamed its Kelvin Hughes subsidiary as Hensoldt UK on 10 September, during the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition in London.
"We are expanding our activities in the UK and will bring together our existing portfolio with Kelvin Hughes' offerings," said Hensoldt CEO Thomas Müller. "In this way we are creating comprehensive system solutions, which will boost our UK business significantly".
Hensoldt acquired Kelvin Hughes in 2017 for an undisclosed price. The business has offices in five countries, employing about 200 staff. It posted sales of about EUR50 million (USD55.04 million) in 2018.
