The US State Department notified Congress on 12 July of a possible US Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Germany of the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) Missiles Segment Enhanced (MSE) with support for an estimated cost of USD401 million, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has announced.
The possible FMS would be for 50 Patriot PAC-3 MSE, including conversion kits, trainers, support equipment, spare parts, and engineering, technical, and logistics support, the DSCA said on its website on 12 July.
The agency added, "The proposed sale will enhance Germany's capability to maintain the largest air defense capacity in Europe.
