Karem Aircraft, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon are teaming to contend for the US Army's Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft-Competitive Prototype (FARA-CP) programme, Karem announced on 1 July.
Although Karem spokesperson Ryan Doss declined on 1 July to provide details on the proposed aircraft's design, the company's press release cited Karem's unique active variable speed rotor technologies. Karem added its expertise would be augmented by Northrop Grumman's manned and autonomous military aircraft development, system integration, production, and support expertise.
