Leonardo teams with financial institutions to promote supply chain growth

10 June 2019

Leonardo has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with financial institutions BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Intesa Sanpaolo, and UniCredit as part of its Leonardo Empowering Advanced Partnership 2020 (LEAP 2020) initiative to further develop the sustainability of its supply chain.

The MoU with these entities will result in the companies establishing working groups through which opportunities to provide funding initiatives for Leonardo’s supply chain will be identified in order to boost their development and growth.

The LEAP 2020 programme is part of the company’s 2018–22 industrial plan, in which it is targeting growth and addressing the sustainability of the firm including the supply chain.
