Israel set to evaluate CH-53K helicopter

30 May 2019

Senior Israeli Air Force (IAF) officials have told Lockheed Martin that they intend to evaluate the Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion as a possible replacement for the CH-53 Yas'ur (Sea Stallion) helicopters that have been in Israeli service for more than 40 years.

"They let us know that a formal request for flight evaluation would occur this year."
