Information technologies firm DXC Technology has inaugurated a cyber defence facility in Malaysia to support its expansion in the Asia Pacific, it announced on 15 April.
The US-headquartered company said its DXC Next-Generation Security Operations Center (SOC) – based in Kuala Lumpur – will serve regional and global clients. DXC operates across sectors including aerospace, defence, automotive, and financial services.
It added that the Malaysian SOC will offer clients cyber security services “by integrating advanced security analytics across information technology and operational technology to provide better visibility, correlation, and response to security threats and vulnerabilities”.
DXC Technology said its new Malaysian SOC is integrated into a network of more than a dozen SOCs across the globe.
