Saudi engineering company Bandaria Auto displayed an all-terrain light armoured vehicle called the Nasser at the IDEX show held in Abu Dhabi on 17-21 February.

Designed for patrol, reconnaissance, and fast-attack missions, the version on display can carry three people with one manning a weapon station that can be armed with a 12.7 mm machine gun. Ambulance and fuel-carrying variants are also offered.

Abdul-Aziz Aqil, the designer of the vehicle, told Jane's that it has been developed to meet the requirements of Saudi ground forces.

Weighing 3.1 tonnes, the Nasser is available with engines from 400 to 1,200hp, giving it a maximum speed of 200 km/h, according to the company.
