Australia has launched its third annual military sales catalogue as part of wider efforts to increase defence exports, the Department of Defence (DoD) in Canberra has announced.
The 2019 Australian Military Sales Catalogue was launched on 12 February and, according to the DoD, “showcases world-leading Australian defence industry products, services, and technology available for export to foreign governments”.
It added that the 2019 catalogue is almost twice the size of last year’s edition, with the number of Australian companies contributing to the publication growing by 75%. A total of 114 local companies are featured in the 2019 catalogue.
The DoD added that a new addition to this year’s catalogue is a section about government programmes designed to promote military exports.
