“The helicopter includes everything needed by the Polish Armed Forces. The armament and all equipment determine the use of the helicopter in support of all special forces military operations. This helicopter is modular”, Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said during the ceremony.

The deal includes delivery of four S-70i helicopters in an unspecified special forces variant, training and logistic package, spare parts, and other equipment. The contract includes an option for four additional Black Hawks.

Poland’s Ministry of National Defence said the S-70i unit price is PLN75 million.
