BAE Systems continues support for USN communications systems

The US Navy (USN) has awarded BAE Systems two indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts for rapid integration and sustainment of command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems for the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).

The first award, LCS CONUS (contiguous United States), is a five-year contract providing lifecycle support across military and commercial based communications platforms. These systems are used by USN, Special Operations Forces, and other US Department of Defense (DoD) and non-defence agencies.

The contract includes OCONUS (outside contiguous United States) work as well, Mark Keeler, vice-president and general manager of BAE Systems' Integrated Defense Solutions, told Jane's .
