IED attack kills one person in Somalia's Mogadishu

ONE person was killed when an improvised explosive device (IED), attached to vehicle by unidentified militants, detonated close to Daydika Junction near the Ministry of Internal Security in Somalia's capital Mogadishu on 2 December, Radio Simba reported. The person killed was the driver of the vehicle, and unconfirmed media reports stated that the vehicle belonged to a ministry employee. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen has conducted similar previous attacks.
