UK-based Survitec Group (Stand BP137) is showing a range of its protection products for land, sea and air at Indo Defence this week.
Among a host of product categories is the Survitec Operational Network of Integrated CBRN Systems (SONICS) protective suits, designed in conjunction with Gore-Tex. It offers a total solution to ensure maximum readiness for civil, military and government organisations. These suits retain their performance and integrity, even when exposed to sea water, petroleum, oils or lubricants, and provide full protection against toxic industrial chemicals, non-traditional agents and blood-borne pathogens such as Ebola and HIV.
The lightweight Bio Skin and Bio Shell suits make use of selectively permeable membrane, which allows high levels of moisture vapour (perspiration) permeability, while significantly restricting the ingress of a broad range of hazardous substances.
Survitec Group is also exhibiting its lifejacket technologies, immersion and survival suits, personal protection products, evacuation systems and pre-hospital care products.
