Euronaval 2018: MTU introduces integrated machinery control system upgrades

With the Callosum MT machinery control system now available on the market, including the upcoming German Navy MKS 180 surface combatant programme, MTU is introducing a variety of features that offer operators more operational insight and integrate additional functionalities.

The solution can now also incorporate an integrated bridge system, electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS), conning, and more in partnership with Raytheon Anschütz.

A new user interface is designed to be intuitive and easy to use for the smartphone-conditioned user generation. It is not tied to operator consoles and can be used on portable devices such as laptops or tablets.
