Two MAF F-7 fighter aircraft crash, killing pilots and 11-year old girl

Two Myanmar Air Force (MAF) F-7M Airguard multirole fighters crashed during a training exercise on 16 October, killing the pilots of the single-seat aircraft, as well as an 11-year-old girl, who was struck by debris from one of the platforms.

Along with two other F-7Ms, the Chinese-built aircraft had taken off from New Magway Air Base, when the weather suddenly changed around 0700 h local time, according to Myanmar’s Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
