Suspected neo-Nazis vandalise mosque in Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia

SUSPECTED neo-Nazi assailants vandalised a mosque, run by the Diyanet Isleri Turk-Islam Birligi (DiTiB), or Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs, in the town of Gladbeck in Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia state between 30 September and 1 October, Hurriyet reported. The assailants defaced the mosque's facade and windows, drawing swastikas and writing racist slogans and threatening messages, such as Not Welcome. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
