Portugal orders Raven B UAS

Portugal has ordered 12 RQ-11B Raven UAS. (AeroVironment)The Portuguese Army Logistics Command awarded AeroVironment a EUR5.9 million (USD6.9 million) contract in late August for 12 RQ-11B Raven DDL (digital datalink) unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and associated equipment and services.
Deliveries will take place from March 2019 to January 2021 for the ISTAR Battalion’s surveillance systems company.
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency is conducting the procurement.
