Russian Helicopters unveiled the Mi-26T2V heavy military transport helicopter intended for the Russian military at the Army 2018 defence show being held in Kubinka near Moscow on 21–26 August.
A Russian aerospace industry source told Jane’s , “The helicopter has received the NPK-902V avionics suite, which considerably enhances the aircraft’s controllability and allows routes to be flown in automatic mode.”
The Mi-26T2V’s night vision-friendly cockpit is fitted with multifunctional displays, while crew protection has been increased with anti-blast seats.
