The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has signed 32 contracts worth RUB130 billion (USD2 billion) with 20 defence companies, Deputy Defence Minister Alexey Krivoruchko announced on 22 August at the Army 2018 defence exhibition in Kubinka near Moscow.
“The implementation of these contracts will result in the delivery of over 600 brand-new and over 1,500 overhauled weapon systems to the Russian military, along with the delivery of munitions and laying the scientific and technological groundwork required for the development of advanced equipment,” Krivoruchko said.
