Anarchists vandalise MP's residence in the UK's Somerset

08 August 2018

ANARCHISTS vandalised the residence of the Conservative party member of parliament Jacob Rees-Mogg in the village of West Harptree in Somerset in the United Kingdom on 1 August, the BBC and Independent reported. The perpetrators sprayed graffiti on the residence and his wife's car and also left condoms and a sex toy at the scene. In a statement released on anarchist website 325-No state on 7 August, a group identifying themselves as the Home-visit Cell claimed responsibility for the incident, stating the Rees-Mogg was chosen as a perfect symbol for many things we struggle against as anarchists.
