Kuwait to replenish F/A-18 munitions

Kuwait is to replenish its stocks of munitions for its air force’s fleet of Boeing F/A-18C/D Hornet combat aircraft, with a USD40.4 million procurement approved by the US government on 2 August.

According to the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the Gulf nation has been cleared to buy 1,020 Mk-82 500 lb bombs, 1,002 Mk-83 1,000 lb bombs, and 600 Mk-84 2,000 lb bombs.
