The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) recently detailed its delivery schedules for two of its most important modernisation programmes: the Embraer KC-390 transport aircraft and the F-39 Gripen E/F fighter.
Brigadier General Márcio Bruno Bonotto, the president of FAB’s purchasing organisation (COPAC), said the first serial production KC-390 will be delivered in late 2018. The FAB expects further deliveries through 2026: three aircraft in 2019, three in 2020, three in 2021, three in 2022, three in 2023, five in 2024, five in 2025, and the last two in 2026.
