UK government ministers have yet to agree on key aspects of the country’s Modernising Defence Programme (MDP) review, putting its publication on hold.
The headline findings of the MDP were expected to be released ahead of the NATO summit in Brussels on 11-12 July to enable Prime Minister Theresa May to brief her fellow heads of government on UK plans. May was unable to provide allied leaders with an MDP update, according to media reports from the summit.
