Harris Corporation has introduced new command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) modules for its hC2 battlefield management system (BMS).
The new capability will bring increased communications and situational awareness to commanders on the battlefield, Harris said in a statement.
Key capabilities of the new C4I modules include faster, more accurate troop and target information from radio GPS to share across echelons, increasing force safety and mission effectiveness. Additionally, Common Operational Picture (COP) logging captures layers of event data for import into Microsoft Excel files, providing commanders in-depth text records that can be filtered and sorted for instant review and future analysis, according to Harris.
