Senegal has ordered an unspecified number of Ground Master 400 long-range air surveillance radars, Thales announced on 19 April.
The company said the West African country will receive its radars in 2019 and they will be connected to its SkyView command-and-control system set up at Ouakam Air Base in Dakar. “The Senegalese armed forces are to deploy a state-of-the-art airspace surveillance and control capability,” it said.
