Roboteam has released a new software package enabling operators to simultaneously control multiple unmanned systems and payloads.
The software, known as Artificial Intelligence Control Unit (AI-CU: pronounced “IQ”) includes autonomous navigation, facial recognition, and other artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities, and is compliant with the United States’ Multiple-Operational Control Unit (MOCU) standards, enabling hand-off between platforms and generally improved cross-platform integration. According to Roboteam, several unnamed unmanned systems providers are evaluating the software.
Operators will be able to control semi-autonomous platforms using voice commands, which are combined with machine-learning techniques enabling the platform to be tailored or to automatically adapt to the way in which individual operators use system features.
