Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is collaborating with consultancy and accelerator firm Starburst to help the company support start-ups within the aerospace and defence sector.
IAI said it wishes to develop into a “significant technological player and strategic partner” for start-ups by offering its technological and business expertise, as well as technology validation, mentoring, and access to potential markets.
These technical collaborations and equity investments will help encourage the development of disruptive technologies, which could contribute to IAI’s existing offerings.
Starburst consists of 300 start-ups and 26 further accelerator companies, including Airbus, Boeing, GE Aviation, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Thales.
